![]() ![]() I probably spend 30-45 minutes a day just doing that. Minimizing isn't a big deal, but resizing and dragging them is. Just wanted to note the main frustration is the migration of all of the windows to the "Primary" display (1). Jrx- I almost feel that the VGA port is what is causing it, as the DP-to-HDMI wakes immediately, the VGA has a delay. Just a gut thing, though.Īdrian- I appreciate your input, however with our compliance settings my machine auto locks after 5 minutes and I am often building 2 or 3 other machines at once, so minimizing before the screen locks isn't really an option as I am frequently pulled away from my intermittently while waiting for a download or something installing.īBigford- I looked through the Planar settings per your suggestion but unfortunately I couldn't find any power options in the menu. Michael- Unfortunately I do not have a DP on my machine, I have a feeling 2 digital ports wouldn't cause this issue. Greg- I had already updated to that Intel driver prior to posting this thread, but I do appreciate the brand consistency from Windows. Tobor- I did as you suggested, the issue unfortunately persists. Thank you so much for all of these replies, I really appreciate the assistance. I've tried all of the fixes contained in the thread below, no luck.Ĭould I get some suggestions with this? Thanks! It seems to happen when I try to log back in before the computer realizes my monitor is still connected. I've found that it only happens if I wake the computer from sleep using a keystroke or click as opposed to moving the mouse. The only thing I could find related to this on the Microsoft Knowledge Base recommended updating my drivers (such a phoned in answer), and all of my drivers are updated to the latest version. ![]() One is connected using VGA and the other using DisplayPort to HDMI. To be specific, all the windows migrate to my primary display. ![]()
